In addition to specializing in Cartesian robots, Gem also has solid experience in the design of custom-designed robotic cells.
Robotic welding cells
The cells are typically constructed using a rotary table that allows the operator to load and unload the product to be assembled. Inside, the robot can perform spot welding with various welding guns housed in magazines with automatic gun changeover. It can also handle the product under welding modules for assembly with projection nuts or screws.
This solution involves the use of two manipulator robots for welding multiple nuts or screws using the multiple modules positioned at the rear.
